Privacy notice.
Information about the data involved when you visit the site, send an enquiry or request a proposal.
Who is responsible?
Kardivon is an independently operated software practice. The person responsible is Laszlo Kardos. To make a privacy enquiry, use the address below or the contact form.
Enquiries and procurement requests
When you use either form, we process your name, email address, organisation details (where provided), the requested service, project description, timeframe, indicative budget (where given) and submission time. The procurement form may also include your role, organisation's public website, existing systems, intended outcome, buying stage and any requirements you choose to share. These details are used only to assess and respond to the request, arrange further discussions and consider a potential business engagement.
Depending on the specific enquiry, processing may be based on pre-contractual steps (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) or legitimate interests in responding to business correspondence (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Checking the acknowledgement box records that you have seen this notice; it is not consent to unsolicited marketing.
Technical abuse prevention
We use basic checks to limit automated form submissions. These can include an empty-field check, validation and short-lived pseudonymous markers derived from network information for rate limiting. The original IP address is not placed in those rate-limit database records. The short-lived markers are deleted as their time windows expire during subsequent submissions. Cloudflare may separately process technical data for hosting and security. If an interactive security challenge is enabled, Cloudflare may process information to verify a submission.
Where information is stored
Form information is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database used for enquiries. Website and DNS infrastructure are provided through Cloudflare; correspondence may also pass through the email service used to receive it. Data is not sold or used to build advertising audiences. Provider processing locations and any international transfers depend on the applicable service configurations and contractual safeguards.
Notifications
We may use a transactional email service to alert the operator when an enquiry is received. Such alerts are intended to contain only a reference to the stored request rather than the full message. This does not subscribe you to a mailing list.
Retention
Messages are kept only while needed for responding, potential engagement discussions, follow-up or applicable recordkeeping requirements, and are reviewed for deletion when no longer required. Technical rate-limit markers are kept for short rolling windows.
Rights and complaints
Under applicable law, you may ask to access, rectify or delete your personal data, restrict processing or object where applicable. You may also have data portability rights and the right to complain to the competent data protection authority. Contact us using the address above.
Cookies and analytics
We do not currently operate advertising pixels or third-party marketing trackers on the website. Necessary hosting, security and form-protection technology may process network information. We will update this notice if the tools used change materially.
